Is this an official Duolingo product?
No. This is an independent publication and platform. It has not been written, authorized, endorsed, or approved by Duolingo, Inc. We prepare you for the test; we are not the test-maker.
Is the material up to date with the current test?
Yes. The DET changed substantially on July 1, 2025. Every format fact in this system — question types, timings, frequencies, scoring, security rules — was verified against official Duolingo English Test sources in August 2026. The book also teaches you how to re-verify before test day in ten minutes.
What exactly do I get?
Each book is a one-time purchase that unlocks everything listed on its page. The DET Self-Study System includes the downloadable 160-page PDF eBook, the Smart Online eBook (reading progress, highlights, notes, vocabulary), and the Interactive Practice Platform (all 13 question types, playable audio, mock tests) — all on your dashboard immediately after purchase.
Are the practice questions real DET questions?
No — and be wary of anyone claiming otherwise. All 300 practice items were created independently to develop the same skills the test measures. Real test content is confidential; using leaked content violates test rules. Our questions train you for the format honestly.
Do you guarantee a score?
No honest preparation product can. Improving a test score means improving your English, and this system is built on that principle — with strategy, structured practice, and study plans that make your hours count.
How long do I have access?
Each book's page states its access period — typically 12 months from the day of purchase, longer than a typical preparation cycle (DET scores themselves are valid for two years).
Can I get a refund?
